Ottawa Charge and the Matchup

The Ottawa Charge compete in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL), where fast skating, physical play, and high-tempo shifts make for an energetic live experience. The team takes its name from Ottawa's history and identity as Canada's capital. On this date, the Charge meet the New York Sirens at Prudential Center for a matchup between two teams representing neighboring hockey markets.

Prudential Center, known locally as The Rock, gives Newark a major-league setting for the game. Its downtown location and connection to Newark Penn Station make it convenient for fans arriving from across New Jersey or New York City. Specific opening acts and a tour name do not apply to this hockey event.

Venue and Seating Information

Prudential Center is a modern arena with a capacity of approximately 19,500 and is home to the NHL's New Jersey Devils. For hockey, lower-bowl center sections 7–15 are a strong choice for following the action across the ice. Center sections on the Club Level offer a mid-level view with wider seats and premium amenities.

The Upper Level provides a broad view of the rink, while the far upper-corner sections—201–203 and 225–226—may feel more distant from the play. Seating availability and sightlines can vary by event configuration, so review the seat map when selecting tickets.

Parking and Getting There

Newark Penn Station is connected to the arena by a skybridge, making public transit a convenient alternative to event-night traffic. If driving, nearby garages offer paid parking; rates may vary depending on demand and advance reservations.

• NJ Transit, PATH, or Amtrak: Newark Penn Station, 1 Raymond Plaza West, Newark, NJ 07102. The station connects to the arena via skybridge; fares vary by origin. Check NJ Transit information.
